If you were to carry out a search on Google for “Why an espresso is good for you?” you would be amazed at the search results you would find. In nearly all articles you will see that they are saying the good news is that coffee is good for us after all.

So just what health benefits can I possibly expect from drinking a cup of hot brown espresso. However, what is important that any coffee you do drink must contain caffeine in order for it to work effectively.

The reason it seems that drinking espresso coffee may be beneficial to a person’s health is because of the anti-oxidants that it contains and which many people are unaware of. It does not matter whether you are drinking either a straight espresso or a cappuccino they both contain the same amount of anti-oxidants within them. But what is important to remember that Coffee is only really good for you if you drink it in moderation. But now let us take a closer look as to why espresso and other forms of coffee are beneficial to a person’s health.

Well firstly you are less likely to suffer from diabetes. In fact in data analyzed by Harvard researchers they found that drinking between 5 to 6 cups of coffee each day could slash the chances of men suffering from Type 2 Diabetes by 54% and for women by 30%.

Also in another study carried out by the Scottish Heart Healthy group they looked at 11,000 men and women aged between 40 and 59. It was found that those who drink large quantities of coffee were more likely to lower the chance of them dying from heart disease.

Another reason drinking espresso is good for you is that in studies carried out with regard to Parkinson’s disease. It was found that those men who drink between 4 and 5 cups of coffee each day cut the risk of developing this disease by nearly half compared to those men who drink little or no coffee at all.

Until I went looking on the Internet I never realized that drinking something so tasty could be good for my health. So many things that benefit my health long term are not all that much fun. It is refreshing to find something I really like will help me stay in better health. So as you can see there are many reasons as to why an espresso is good for you.

What Are The Benefits Of Drinking Espresso

As long as you do not drink too much, espresso is good for you. But just why is espresso good for you? The reason is that it contains anti-oxidants that many people are unaware of. These anti-oxidants help to boost your health and it does not matter whether you drink espresso or a cappuccino.

Unfortunately lots of people will avoid drinking coffee because of the amount of caffeine that it contains. But this is not the only ingredient in it and there are plenty of others that are actually beneficial to our bodies. It has been found that the anti-oxidants contained within coffee help to boost our immune system to lend a hand in staying healthy. It has also been proven that anti-oxidants can help to decrease the likelihood of someone developing heart disease.

Plus these anti-oxidants will also help to reduce the risk of someone developing cirrhosis of the liver that can in some cases lead to liver cancer. But it should not be used as a replacement in place of you having regular checkups or screenings with your family doctor.

In research carried out by various places across the world the following was found that there were some benefits to be had from drinking coffee.

So as you can see from above there are many reasons as to why espresso is good for you. Why not start enjoying a cup or two each day from now on. I’m sure your body will soon be thanking you for it!
